I actually liked this dress, with some reservations. The material did not seem thin and cheap. It is part rayon and part wool. (I have a sensitivity to wool, so this is unfortunate and I will itch like heck but I'll still wear it.)

The Large is a little bit sackish but for my figure, a bit doughy from having a child recently, this actually is flattering. I think if you are hourglass shaped, the dress will look nice on you. It is probably cut best for women with some curves but I can't say if that is for sure--I just know that it covers my less flattering areas very well.

The best part is the shoulder line and v-neck.

This dress is a nice basic to have. You have to wear a full slip under it and the top is cut a bit big for my narrow shoulders. Over all, it looks great on.

I tried this dress and ignored all the past reviews and boy were they right. The material was itchy, the zipper didnt lay flat in the back and it was more like a black potato sack than a dress... they need to tell Isaac Mizrahi to make some adjustments on this one.

The fabric looks and feels cheapish, the skirt should be a better shape and the back zipper doesn't lie flat. Even with all of these faults I did keep it becuase it is a staple black dress. I only wear it to work though - would never wear it out.

I purchased this online and was very unhappy with it once I received it. The material has no give at all and just hangs on your body. The zipper in the back doesn't lay down flat. I highly recommend not to buy this dress.

The dress looks great in the picture. I ordered XS bc I'm really thin, but the XS was actually more like a Large. Horrible! Fabric really cheap too. Thin, see through, almost threadbare. Waste of time and money.

I liked the fit of the dress, but not the fabric. The fabric was a little too itchy for me. Needless to say I returned the dress. The discomfort wasn't worth it.
